Job summary

Cox Fleet, a national mobile maintenance provider, seeks a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex diagnostics on a mobile fleet.

Responsibilities include documenting work and communicating with customers and management, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 5+ years in related field, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to work in a mobile field role with DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 5+ years in related field.
• Experience with refrigerated equipment is preferred.
• DOT regulations and safety certifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on trucks.
• Document work performed, parts used, and findings using company tools and TRAIT app.
