Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs on light to heavy trucks. This role requires strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently in a mobile/fleet setting.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PM on light/medium/heavy vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and transmission systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose malfunctions.
• Maintain and inventory parts and tools on service truck; document RO in TRAIT app.
• Complete DOT forms accurately and in a timely manner.
