Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician - DOT to perform on-site DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a mobile fleet. You will operate from a company service vehicle and work in a field setting, traveling to customer sites.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, DOT compliance knowledge, and the ability to manage time and parts in a dynamic environment. Weekly pay is provided along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field.
Must possess and provide a set of hand tools.
DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge and DOT medical card requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on light to heavy vehicles.
Maintain and operate company service vehicle and document work on RO in TRAIT app.
Manage parts inventory and conduct pre-/post-trip safety inspections.
Communicate with clients to assess needs and provide status updates.
Maintain productivity and adhere to standard repair times.
