Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience working with data (data engineer/analyst/scientist).
• 7+ years of SQL, ETL, data modeling and programming (Python/C++/C#/Scala).
• Experience building batch data pipelines and distributed query engines.
• Hands-on experience with client-side logging/instrumentation in mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Experience measuring product engagement, retention, funnels, latency.

Responsibilities

• Own data architecture for large-scale projects with cost-benefit tradeoffs.
• Improve logging data frameworks and triage data issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and data scientists to visualize data insights.
• Define and manage SLAs for data sets under ownership.
• Design and implement client-side instrumentation in production mobile apps.
