Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Engineer to shape data products across our family of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. You will design scalable data solutions and collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to optimize growth, strategy, and user experience for billions of users and hundreds of millions of businesses.

You will build data models, ensure data quality and security, and influence cross-functional teams with data-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience working with data across analytics, engineering, or data science roles.
• 7+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and at least one programming language.

• Conceptualize and own data architecture for large-scale projects.
• Develop logging frameworks and improve data infrastructure reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to translate data needs into actionable insights.
