Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or graduate-level coursework in mental health or social work.
• Valid driver's license, comprehensive auto insurance, and access to a safe, reliable vehicle.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments with variable needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience documenting services in EMR; maintain professional boundaries.
• Trauma-informed approaches when supporting individuals in crisis.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile crisis calls involving adults with mental health, substance use, or developmental disabilities emergencies.
• Work with a peer support specialist to provide crisis response and support.
• Conduct community-based assessments to determine crisis level, needs, supports, and interventions.
• Use solution-focused and trauma-informed strategies to resolve crises and teach coping skills.
• Provide clinical support, active listening, and follow-up; connect with ongoing services and resources.
• Strengthen natural supports, build relationships, and prepare for future challenges.
• Complete timely documentation, collaborate with partners, and participate in training and supervision.
