Job summary

Glass America in Portland is seeking an Auto Glass Technician to replace windshields and window glass on vehicles. You will install glass in-shop or on the road, using proper tools to ensure timely, quality service.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with 4–6 years of related experience. Join a team focused on safety and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4–6 years of related auto glass installation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Use proper tools and techniques for quality installation.
• Complete required paperwork and follow company policies.
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with company policies.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass into truck and assist with installations.
• Provide excellent customer service and teamwork.
