Job summary

Glass America is seeking Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and window glass in motor vehicles, either in‑shop or on a mobile basis. You will install glass, use proper tools, and ensure timely, quality service for customers.

Responsibilities include completing paperwork, maintaining a safe driving record, and following all company policies. The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 4–6 years of related work experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods during installation.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to handle glass with hands.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude and skill with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass in‑shop or on a mobile basis.
• Use proper tools and techniques to ensure quality installation.
• Complete and submit required paperwork to the appropriate person/location.
• Maintain a safe driving record per company policy.
• Perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass into the truck as required.
• Coordinate with Glass Manager on issues during installation.
• Maintain high levels of quality control.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Report any accidents or incidents to the Glass Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures in the employee handbook.
• Maintain good rapport with supervisors and co‑workers.
