Job summary

Glass America is seeking an Auto Glass Technician to replace windshields and other glass in vehicles, in-shop or on a mobile basis. You will install and secure glass, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A reliable driving record and ability to stand for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Uses proper tools to ensure quality installation.
• Completes required paperwork for each job.
• Maintains safe driving record per company policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs when needed.
• Loads glass and related materials into the truck.
• Communicates issues to Glass Manager promptly.
• Maintains quality control and customer service standards.
