Job summary

Glass America in Hawthorne, CA seeks Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and window glass in vehicles, in shop or on a mobile basis. You will use proper tools and deliver high-quality installations and customer service.

Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 4–6 years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Compliance with safety and company policies is required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 4–6 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Uses proper tools and techniques to ensure quality installation service.
• Completes required paperwork.
• Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record.
• May perform auto glass repairs.
• Loads glass in the truck as needed.
• Report problems to the Glass Manager promptly.
• Maintain high levels of quality control.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Report accidents/incidents to the Glass Manager.
