Job summary

Glass America is seeking Auto Glass Technicians to replace windshields and other auto glass components in vehicles, in-shop or mobile. You will use the proper tools to ensure timely installation, complete necessary paperwork, and maintain safety and quality standards for Glass America customers.

Responsibilities include loading glass, performing repairs when needed, and reporting issues to the Glass Manager.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of related work experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Background check, MVR and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Install auto glass in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Use proper tools to ensure efficient, timely installation.
• Complete paperwork and report to the appropriate person/location.
• Maintain safe driving record per policy.
• May perform auto glass repairs as needed.
• Load glass in the truck as needed.
• Report problems to Glass Manager.
• Maintain high quality control and customer service excellence.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly.
