Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering, 8+ years on mobile apps (Android/iOS).
• 3+ years in technical leadership roles guiding architecture and delivery.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) with cross‑platform know‑how.
• Experience with MVVM/Clean Architecture and modular SDK development.
• Proven ability to lead mobile-to-backend integrations and cloud interfaces.
• Experience in regulated medical device software environments (IEC 62304, FDA design controls) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and evolution of Android and iOS apps.
• Drive mobile-to-backend integration, API contracts, and data models.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to mobile engineers.
• Enforce coding standards, reviews, testing, CI/CD, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with platform guidelines, accessibility, and security.
• Own software quality, verification evidence, and design documentation per regulations.
• Oversee secure device-cloud connectivity and BLE integration.
• Collaborate with backend, firmware, UX/UI, and regulatory teams to deliver.
• Plan engineering efforts, manage risks, and track milestones end-to-end.
• Remain hands-on in critical decisions, reviews, and prototyping.
