Job summary

Chime is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Application Security Engineer with deep mobile security expertise to join the Product Security team. You will work with mobile, backend, and platform engineering to identify, prevent, and remediate security issues across iOS, Android, API, and backend systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application security, with hands-on work on mobile and backend systems.
• Experience securing iOS and Android apps in production.
• Knowledge of mobile threat models and attack techniques.
• Familiarity with mobile security testing incl. static/dynamic analysis.
• Coding experience in Ruby, Go or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve security capabilities for mobile apps and backend/services.
• Conduct application or API/backend penetration testing.
• Identify, triage, and remediate vulnerabilities across products.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed security in the lifecycle.
• Review architectures for secure data storage, auth, secure communication, and token handling.
• Leverage AI to speed security workflows and develop AI security controls.
