Job summary

Chime is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Application Security Engineer with deep mobile security expertise to join the Product Security team.

You will work with mobile, backend, and platform engineers to identify, prevent, and remediate security issues across iOS, Android, APIs, and backend systems. This role is hands-on and impact-driven, operating close to code and product to influence secure design decisions and ship features safely.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on application security experience across mobile and backend systems.
• In-depth knowledge of iOS/Android security, threat models, and attack techniques.
• Proficient in secure coding practices and security testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve security capabilities for mobile apps and API/backend services.
• Perform penetration testing on applications and APIs to identify vulnerabilities.
• Identify, triage, and remediate security issues across Chime products.
• Embed security into the SDLC with engineering and product teams.
• Review architectures and code across iOS/Android, APIs, and backend for secure data handling.
• Leverage AI to accelerate security workflows and enforce production-grade controls.
