Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience.
• Excellent telephone skills and ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
• Proficient with computers, email.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field.

Responsibilities

• Educates members and representatives on plan features, benefits, and requirements.
• Manages telephonic intake and responses to clinical and non-clinical inquiries.
• Identifies issues, resolves non-clinical problems, and escalates clinical cases.
• Monitors member satisfaction and documents service issues.
• Maintains knowledge of MLTC benefits and access to services.
• Processes referrals and follows up to ensure services are delivered.
• Audits reports and supports care coordination staff.
