Job summary

Asset Reality Limited is seeking an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to lead the US compliance function. This senior role will be the primary point of accountability for all AFC obligations in the United States, owning the end-to-end BSA/AML programme and serving as the main contact for regulators.

You will manage regulatory filings, liaise with FinCEN, OFAC, IRS and state regulators, and drive continuous improvement of the AFC controls in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a compliance or regulatory managerial role in fintech, financial institution, or regulator.
• Demonstrated experience managing regulatory examinations and independent audits.
• Strong working knowledge of US crypto regulatory environment: BSA, FinCEN, OFAC, Travel Rule.
• CAMS, ICA, or equivalent recognised compliance certification required.

Responsibilities

• Own regulatory filings and reporting obligations (SARs/CTRs) and BSA-mandated reports to FinCEN.
• Serve as primary liaison to US regulators (FinCEN, OFAC, IRS, state regulators).
• Implement and continuously improve BSA/AML and sanctions compliance programme.
• Lead independent audits/regulatory examinations and coordinate internal stakeholders.
• Provide compliance guidance to senior leadership and the Board.
