Job summary

Global Fintech Talent seeks a Chief Compliance Officer / US BSA Officer to lead the US compliance programme for an international digital assets business. This is a hands-on role with authority to make filing and risk decisions, reporting to the Board.

Responsibilities include owning BSA/AML programme readiness, leading transaction monitoring and SAR filings, OFAC sanctions, KYC and due diligence, and coordinating with product and operations to maintain practical controls while supporting growth.

Qualifications

At least 7 years of BSA/AML experience in US-regulated finance.
Hands-on ownership of a US BSA/AML programme.
Experience drafting and filing SARs; strong OFAC expertise.
Ability to defend compliance decisions under pressure and communicate with senior management and Board.
Experience using AI tools responsibly in compliance workflows.

Responsibilities

Act as the designated US BSA Officer, owning programme effectiveness and examination readiness.
Lead transaction monitoring, SAR decisions and filings, and sanctions compliance.
Oversee KYC, enhanced due diligence, customer risk and compliance vendors.
Lead regulatory, independent review and banking-partner responses, and drive remediation.
Work with Product and Operations to support growth with practical, effective controls.
