Job summary

Definitive Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a hands-on Principal MLOps Engineer & Functional Lead to architect and scale its AI infrastructure, capable of training and deploying traditional models and Generative AI at enterprise scale.

You will establish MLOps best practices, mentor engineers, and translate business objectives into automated pipelines across AWS, Databricks, and scalable frameworks, with a focus on low latency, observability, and robust lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data/ML engineering
• 5+ years building MLOps platforms in production
• Hands-on production experience with Databricks and AWS
• Strong Python with TensorFlow/PyTorch deployment

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ML and data pipelines for CI/CD and model deployments
• Architect enterprise feature stores and vector stores for low-latency retrieval
• Build workflow orchestration for multi-stage model training and data processing
• Lead ML infra for Generative AI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent workflows
• Manage model lifecycle with registry, versioning, and lineage
