UnitedHealth Group seeks a Platform, AI & Integration (PAII) leader to guide architecture, engineering standards, and the deployment of AI/ML models at enterprise scale. You will oversee engineers, drive responsible AI practices, and collaborate across Platform, Data, and Security teams.

The role prioritizes cross-functional leadership, scalable AI solutions, and robust MLOps in a cloud-centric environment with enterprise-grade governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software/data/ML engineering experience.
• 4+ years designing/training/deploying AI/ML models in production.
• 3+ years of technical or people leadership experience.
• 3+ years of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) experience.
• 3+ years programming in Python with ML frameworks.
• 2+ years implementing MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and people leadership for PAII engineering team, setting standards and architectural direction.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions with responsible AI.
• Own end-to-end AI/ML model development and production deployment with secure integration.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities with cloud services and modern data pipelines.
• Drive platform AI roadmap, architecture decisions, and MLOps practices.
• Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and innovation across PAII.
• Use enterprise AI tools to automate tasks and improve processes.
• Mentor engineers on AI/ML tooling and integration patterns.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Platform, Data, and Security teams.
