Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive evaluation and introspection tooling for autonomous driving models. You will design and implement end-to-end measurement and visualization capabilities that tie offline signals to real-world behavior.

You will collaborate with data, infra, and validation teams to accelerate model selection, validation, and deployment decisions across embedded AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with backend/frontend technologies and data/infra stack.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve evaluation signals and introspection tools for model assessment.
• Develop visualization and metrics presentation within the evaluation loop.
• Help teams introspect model behavior and derive actionable steps.
• Participate in design and code reviews; collaborate with data, infra, and validation teams.
• Collaborate with modeling and data scaling teams on end-to-end evaluation workflows.
