Job summary

General Motors, through Embodied AI, seeks a Senior Engineer to measure and visualize AV model performance. You will design and implement evaluation workflows, collaborate across Data, Infra and validation teams, and connect offline evaluation with real-world behavior.

This remote role offers opportunities to influence safety and scalability of next‑generation autonomous systems and to contribute to a cohesive evaluation flywheel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with Python, data pipelines, and large-scale evaluation.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve evaluation signals and introspection tools.
• Develop visualization and metrics within the model evaluation loop.
• Help teams interpret model behavior and drive actionable next steps.
• Participate in design and code reviews with Data, Infra, and validation teams.
