Job summary

Crescendo Global Leadership Hiring India is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to tackle large-scale business problems using ML, statistics, and experimentation. Location: Bengaluru / Remote, with 6–9 years of applied ML/DS experience and production-level models.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of applied ML / DS experience with models deployed to production.
• Strong knowledge of Statistics & Probability, hypothesis testing, Bayesian inference and causal inference.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, pandas, scikit-learn and PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Experience working with Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
• Experience with Git and production-quality research code.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture, microservices or streaming technologies such as Kafka.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined ML problems and measurable success metrics.
• Build and validate models across classical ML, deep learning, transformers, embeddings and causal inference.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure business impact.
• Work with large datasets using Spark and Databricks for EDA and modelling.
• Develop custom algorithms, estimators and optimization approaches where required.
• Partner with ML Engineers to take research prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Monitor deployed models for drift, bias and performance degradation.
• Mentor mid-level Data Scientists / ML Scientists and communicate technical insights to senior stakeholders.
