Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a PhD-qualified leader to develop strategic AI/ML capabilities for biopharmaceutical development. You will build models to support development teams and deliver user-friendly solutions that empower data-driven decisions.

The role involves collaborating across IT and business functions, designing experiments, and transforming historical data into actionable knowledge. A hybrid work arrangement and IP-focused impact are expected.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Science, Industrial Eng, OR Data Science, with 2 years of related experience.
• Experience leading strategic modeling programs and delivering solutions.
• Experience applying ML to biopharmaceutical development.
• Proficiency in programming languages listed in the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic roadmap and capabilities for applied AI/ML in biopharma development.
• Build ML models to help development teams make data-driven decisions.
• Deliver user-ready solutions for project teams to use models.
• Collaborate with IT to enable data flow for modeling.
• Advise teams on experimental design and data transformation to knowledge.
• Collaborate with scientists on modeling opportunities in CMC space.
• Leverage LLM and cloud platforms to enable faster, robust development.
• Protect IP and contribute to patentable outputs.
