Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior ML Engineer for Biologics Discovery Data Science to deploy AI/ML capabilities and enable scalable, production-grade discovery workflows.

You will work with data scientists, discovery scientists, and partner teams to operationalize models, ensure governance, and manage lifecycle from development to production across multiple locations, including Spring House, Titusville, and Raritan.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/engineering/DS/ML or related field.
• 4+ years operationalizing and scaling AI/ML in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and modern data platforms.
• Expertise with model registries, experiment tracking, and ML lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases).
• Experience implementing production AI/ML practices including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable pipelines delivering model-ready data to ML/AI workflows.
• Enable closed-loop scientific learning by capturing and provisioning data to downstream modeling/workflows.
• Establish reliable deployment, serving, governance, access, and lifecycle management across environments.
• Implement versioning, reproducible releases, rollback capabilities, and traceability across the AI/ML lifecycle.
