Job summary

People Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI/ML Engineering Platform team. You will design and build scalable distributed systems, ML pipelines, and model serving APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with data scientists and product managers to deliver ML-driven features, improve observability, and maintain high quality code and documentation across pipelines and services.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building scalable backend systems and services.
• Experience with Python, Node.js, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable distributed systems and ML pipelines for ranking, retrieval, and personalization.
• Develop data pipelines for feature generation, model training, and analytics workflows.
• Implement model serving with KServe and APIs using FastAPI for low-latency inference.
• Collaborate with data scientists and platform teams to deliver ML-driven features.
