Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help scale and operate our ML compute platform in a multi-cloud environment. You will own automation, reliability, and performance of critical services across Kubernetes, cloud storage, and networking stacks.

The role emphasizes on-call readiness, cross-team collaboration, and delivering robust infrastructure at scale. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of cloud-native SRE experience, strong Python/Go/Rust skills, and deep knowledge of

Qualifications

5+ years of building, operating and scaling a large application in private, public, or hybrid clouds.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes with hands-on experience on platforms like EKS.
Proficient in Python, Go, or Rust for cloud-native tooling and automation.
Experience with object storage technologies (S3) and distributed systems.
Strong networking foundation and Linux internals knowledge.

Responsibilities

Participates in a rotating on-call schedule, including occasional weekend coverage.
Support global operations across time zones with a multinational team.
Leverage diverse stack including open-source tools, commercial solutions, and in-house systems.
Automate and optimize deployment, monitoring, and incident response for large-scale services.
Drive design and implementation aligned with project objectives and timelines.
Provide constructive technical feedback to foster team growth and improvement.
