Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Machine Learning Engineer (People Leader) to drive AI transformations, design and scale ML platforms, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, deploy production ML solutions on cloud, build data pipelines, and advocate responsible AI, with opportunities to shape strategy and recruit top talent across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in CS, ML or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of Python/Java/Golang/C++ experience.
• 6+ years ML experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• 6+ years deploying ML solutions in production on cloud and using Kubernetes.
• At least 1 year of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components with product and data science teams.
• Scale multi-tenant platforms for large footprint ML training and serving.
• Deploy and monitor ML models in production on cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor engineers within an Agile team.
• Build optimized data pipelines for ML training and evaluation.
