Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy ML models that solve complex business problems in a production setting. You will work across Product, Data Science, Ops, and Data Engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable ML solutions.

You will lead efforts to construct data pipelines, train and validate models, and ensure governance, security, and explainability while using Python, Java, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field is required.
• 6+ years programming in Python/Java/Golang/C++ and ML experience.
• Hands-on with PyTorch or TensorFlow and scalable ML systems.
• Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models that solve real-world business problems with Product and Data Science teams.
• Build and scale multi-tenant platforms enabling large-scale model training and serving.
• Collaborate in an Agile team to create software for big data and ML apps.
• Retrain, monitor, and maintain models in production with governance and explainability.
