Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, build, and scaling of ML models and platforms in production. This role collaborates with Product and Data Science teams to deliver robust AI solutions across a multi-tenant environment.

You will drive infrastructure choices, ensure model governance and explainability, and deploy using CI/CD best practices while leveraging cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field related to CS/ML.
• Strong Python/Java/Golang/C++ programming experience.
• Extensive ML experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components with Product/Data Science teams.
• Scale multi-tenant platforms for large-scale ML training and serving.
• Inform ML infra decisions on model/data/feature choices and validation.
• Develop/test app code, validate ML models, automate tests and deployment.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to build state-of-the-art big data/ML apps.
• Retrain, monitor, and maintain models in production; act on governance.
