Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance generative AI, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and agentic AI in production environments.

You will leverage Scale's internal infrastructure and massive datasets to improve products and customer experiences in mission-critical settings. You will work on the Public Sector ML team deploying models for government systems, building agent frameworks, and developing scalable ML infrastructure while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with GenAI, Agentic AI, NLP, DL or CV in production.
• Strong programming background in Python; experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures and OOP.

Responsibilities

• Take state-of-the-art models from internal and community sources and deploy them in production to solve customer problems.
• Improve and maintain production models via retraining, hyperparameter tuning and architectural updates while preserving performance.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to prototype ML-driven product enhancements.
• Work with massive datasets to develop generic and product-specific models.
• Build scalable ML infrastructure to automate and optimize services.
• Act as a cross-functional advocate for ML across engineering and product teams.
• Learn new technologies quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel light (~10%) for customer interaction and team needs.
• This role will require an active security clearance.
