Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to advance generative AI, computer vision, and agentic AI in production environments.

You will leverage Scale's robust infrastructure and massive datasets to improve products and customer experiences for government-focused systems. You will build and deploy state-of-the-art models, retrain and tune them, and collaborate with product and research teams to prototype ML‑driven enhancements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with GenAI, Agentic AI, NLP, deep learning or computer vision in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Solid background in algorithms, data structures and OOP.

Responsibilities

• Take state-of-the-art models and use them in production to solve customer problems.
• Improve and maintain production models through retraining, hyperparameter tuning and updates.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to prototype ML-driven enhancements.
• Work with massive datasets to develop general and product-specific models.
• Build scalable machine learning infrastructure to automate ML services.
• Act as cross-functional representative for ML across engineering and product.
