Job summary

Tekmetric seeks a senior ML engineer to transform experimental features into production-grade systems. You will design RAG pipelines, manage semantic search, and deploy ML models within AWS Bedrock/SageMaker. Collaboration with data engineers will surface results through search and analytics APIs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ML engineering with hands-on production experience.
• Experience with retrieval systems and vector search.
• Hands-on knowledge of RAG, tool use/calling, and prompt engineering.
• Strong Python and ML tooling for production environments.
• Data engineering basics including SQL or Spark for training data.
• ML infrastructure on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, Lambda).
• Workflow orchestration with Airflow, Prefect, or Kubeflow.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RAG pipelines with chunk stores and Redshift-based data.
• Own semantic search infrastructure: embedding, chunking, BM25+vector retrieval.
• Develop end-to-end recommendation model pipelines and SageMaker path.
• Define prompts and context for Bedrock-powered features with engineers.
• Compute and serve ML features for model and analytics needs.
• Maintain batch and incremental embeddings with Bedrock and CDC.
• Build evaluation frameworks for offline retrieval and A/B testing.
• Collaborate with data engineers to surface results via APIs.
