Job summary

phData is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize production-grade AI/ML systems for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with AI architects, data scientists, and engineers to move solutions from experimentation into scalable production, advancing reusable accelerators and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical discipline; at least 3 years delivering AI/ML in production.
• Strong programming experience in Python for building production-grade AI, ML, and data pipelines.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for querying, transforming, and validating data used in AI/ML solutions.
• Experience with modern cloud/data/AI ecosystems such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, dbt, Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production-ready Applied AI and ML solutions aligned with customer objectives and enterprise environments.
• Translate architectures and requirements into clean, maintainable code, data, and model pipelines.
• Implement robust production patterns for predictive ML, generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows with monitoring and guardrails.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms, APIs, workflows ensuring reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Contribute to accelerators, reference implementations, engineering standards, and playbooks across clients.
