Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Senior Engineering Technician in Norfolk, VA to support MK 41 VLS installation, testing, and maintenance at NSWC Port Hueneme in a full-time role. You will align engineering, test, and logistics activities to sustain fleet readiness, manage diagnostics, and document procedures.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting MK 41 VLS.
• Current MK VLS SMT or TD certification per NAVSEA SIL 86-2.
• Experience using electronics test equipment and performing diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical services for VLS equipment installation and upgrades.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures.
• Perform root-cause analysis and diagnostics for fleet operations and live-fire events.
• Author and maintain technical manuals, PMS documents, and waivers.
