Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Senior Engineering Technician in Norfolk, VA to support MK 41 VLS In-Service Engineering Agent tasks. The role requires hands-on installation, testing, and diagnostics for vessel systems, aligning engineering, test, and logistics with program objectives.

Candidates must have 5+ years' experience, a current SMT/TD certification, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Strong communication and proficiency with test equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MK 41 VLS or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Support launcher engineering, installation, upgrades, testing, and diagnostics for MK 41 VLS.
• Develop and execute test procedures ensuring compliance with safety design precepts.
• Author and maintain shipboard procedures, PMS, and TM documentation.
• Provide engineering support during OEM production, upgrades, and harvesting of decommissioned vessels.
• Utilize electronic test equipment to diagnose and resolve fleet issues.
