Job summary

EvenUp is hiring a Mixed Methods User Researcher to join our SF-based team. You will connect user research with product decisions by turning usage data, interviews, and sentiment into actionable insights for our EPD group.

You’ll build self-serve research tools, run surveys and interviews, and present concise recommendations to leadership. This hands-on role suits deeply analytical, user-obsessed individuals who thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in a fast-paced SaaS/tech analytics or product research role.
• Strong SQL and BI tools proficiency (Tableau/Looker/Metabase).
• Experience building AI/low-code automation for workflows.
• Proven ability to balance quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Excellent communication, turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Mine and synthesize user signals from SQL queries, BI dashboards, and feedback.
• Design and run mixed-methods research: surveys, interviews, focus groups.
• Build self-serve research tooling and research ops to scale insights.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations influencing roadmap early.
