Job summary

Raytheon, a leading U.S. aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Mission Planning Engineer to join the Mission Planning Section in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on developing concepts of operation for mission planning to weapon employment, supporting current programs and capturing new opportunities.

You will work onsite, guide teams, and coordinate with IPTs and program leadership while traveling for flight-test witness and on-site support. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of engineers and analysts to realize Mission Planning objectives.
• Become the go-to source for mission planning expertise.
• Travel to witness flight tests and provide onsite support.
• Develop mission planning solutions across programs, captures, and IRADs.
• Lead team execution in an agile framework and deliver capability.
• Guide and mentor younger engineers and foster teamwork.
