Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to missile system hardware and software integration, requirements management, and system verification across the full V-model. This onsite role requires DoD Secret clearance and U.S.

citizenship. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with software, hardware, and test teams, lead verification reviews, and work with suppliers and the Supply Chain as the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in MBSE, requirements development, management, verification, CONOPS, and system architecture.
• Experience with Cameo, DOORS, and product data management tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain requirements documentation for development and production efforts.
• Create and manage systems architecture, interfaces, and verification documents using Cameo.
• Participate in technical conversations with the customer.
• Coordinate with suppliers and the Supply Chain as REA for assembly.
• Lead verification and validation efforts across the program.
• Perform trade studies and present results to customers.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support system performance analysis and issue investigations.
• Lead peer reviews and release of CDRLs and TDPs.
• Ensure cross-team collaboration across IPTs.
