Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent for government projects to lead on-site operations, ensure safety and quality, and align with the project schedule. You will coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, and client representatives to drive project priorities and maintain a safe, productive site.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction and proficiency with project software such as ProCore and BlueBeam.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred; experience accepted in lieu.
• 5+ years in commercial construction, including tenant renovations and work in occupied spaces.
• Strong leadership, safety, and quality mindset; ability to schedule and manage resources.
• Proficiency with project software (MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam) and OSHA-30 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site workflow and ensure adherence to project schedule, safety, and quality standards.
• Serve as primary site leader, coordinating with subs, project team, and client representatives.
• Maintain daily logs, manage punch list, and support closeout process.
• Collaborate with project manager to formulate schedule and ensure proper installation methods.
