RTX's Advanced Effector Guidance Systems team seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer to develop Guidance System and Flight Avionics solutions for missiles. You will work on RF/RADAR, Navigation/IMU/GPS, and power electronics across the Raytheon portfolio.

The role emphasizes architecture, requirements, integration, and test, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and exposure to government customers. Travel may be required, including international trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years in flight avionics hardware development.
• Active DoD security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Architect new electronic systems and document subsystem requirements.
• Develop and validate designs through reviews and tests; mentor team members.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and management across programs.
• Travel may be required, including international travel.
