Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator in the United States (Salt Lake City or Chicago) to develop, manage, and coordinate capital cost estimates for mining and mineral processing projects worldwide, ranging from $1 million to $10+ billion. The role leads discipline estimators and interfaces with project teams.

You will oversee multi-discipline estimates, support scheduling, validate takeoffs, and ensure estimate defensibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years combined estimating and construction experience.
• Experience leading large mining studies and multi-discipline estimates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules.
• Lead mining studies and program-level estimating efforts.
• Coordinate inputs from estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Review drawings to identify risks and opportunities.
