Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC in Anchorage, AK seeks a Mining Engineer III to develop and document data for mechanical, piping and process design related to mining operations for Donlin Gold. You will contribute to pre‑FEED/FEED docs and provide field support, including site supervision when needed.

The role focuses on drafting and reviewing design documents, coordinating with EPCM providers, and leading multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met with a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering or other engineering discipline.
• Five to fifteen years of experience working on natural resource, mining, and process operations projects.
• PE in Alaska preferred; PE in other states (or ability to obtain license) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design review of key engineering documents for the Donlin Gold project.
• Coordinate data collection, site inspection, and evaluation to support project objectives.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff preparing documentation.
• Review processes to obtain, update design documents, plans and reports.
• Lead in creating an effective team dynamic and in RFP responses.
• Serve as Deputy PM for specific projects and assist with client requests.
• Lead operations associated with key team deliverables and safety culture.
