Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer III to support environmental compliance tasks across multiple sites, including Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska, with potential assignments in Idaho, Utah, and Maine. The role emphasizes field support, data interpretation, and regulatory reporting while mentoring junior staff.

You will lead data-driven environmental investigations, prepare documentation, and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• Seven to fifteen years of experience on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups following regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with technicians on data collection, site inspections, and data evaluation for project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for project documentation.
• Review processes to obtain and update environmental permits, plans, and reports.
• Lead in creating effective team dynamics and mentor junior staff.
• Act as technical liaison for clients and lead safety initiatives.
