Job summary

Qualifications

• Nine years accounting experience, including two years in instruction/ training.
• Associate degree in Accounting or Finance with seven years accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with five years of supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with three years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of supervisory methods and techniques.
• Skilled in resolving day-to-day questions about equipment, materials, methods and procedures to complete projects.
• Skilled in budget preparation, monitoring and administration.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensures continued operations of production shifts through execution of the production plan and schedules
• Provides operations input for production and maintenance planning
• Ensures adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations
• Inspects assigned work units to ensure schedules and objectives are attained
• Coordinates daily with other operational and staff areas including maintenance, processing, engineering, safety, environmental, and sales
• Directly supervises first-line or shift supervisors
• Performs other duties as required
