Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with five (5) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical mining related discipline with at least one internship in mining/industrial environment.
• Additional certifications or licensure may be required; strong safety focus and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff for the assigned work unit.
• Implements production plans according to the approved schedule.
• Participates in daily operational duties and addresses issues as they arise.
• Inspects and evaluates work in progress, identifies problems, and directs remedial action.
• Conducts performance evaluations on subordinate staff.
• Prepares estimates of staffing, materials, and equipment needs for activities.
• Maintains inventory of parts and materials; requisitions tools and equipment.
• Trains staff in safety procedures and maintains safety data sheets.
