Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan invites applications for a Senior Planner - Mine Maintenance at our Henderson operation. You will lead the division planning function, supervise planners, set objectives, and ensure safe, efficient job planning, scheduling, and forecasting.

You will collaborate with mine stakeholders, manage budgets, inventory, and process controls, and drive runtime forecasting to support maintenance outcomes in a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional maintenance leadership experience.
• Associates in a technical field with maintenance leadership exposure.
• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of maintenance and supervisory experience.
• Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division planning, supervision of planning staff, and scheduling.
• Set objectives for planners and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Drive runtime forecasting and monthly plan development for areas.
• Coordinate with mine stakeholders for reconciliations.
• Manage division budgeting, parts inventory, and material flow.
• Provide timely feedback to the Superintendent on planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
