Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler for the Henderson mine and mill near Empire, Colorado. You will lead workload planning, schedule maintenance activities, manage SAP/CMMS data, and collaborate with site supervisors to ensure reliable production.

Ideal candidates have strong maintenance planning knowledge, understanding of mining equipment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS.

Qualifications

• Understanding of concepts and workflow of Maintenance Planning/Scheduling.
• Understanding of mining and/or processing equipment function.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of maintenance management systems and associated applications.
• Demonstrated professional/effective written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead workload activities of the assigned department by planning, scheduling, measuring, and analyzing maintenance activities in collaboration with site supervisors.
• Manage and maintain the integrity of information management systems to achieve planning objectives.
• Establish and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities; participate in planning meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentor Planner I personnel in Freeport-McMoRan practices and scheduling techniques.
• Support area Supervisor in job preparation, execution and follow-up per company standards.
