Job summary

KBR in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an ESS Terminals SME Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems for national security missions.

This role requires a DoD Top Secret clearance, 15+ years of Systems Engineering experience, MILSATCOM knowledge, and on-site work in a secure facility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• 15+ years of Systems Engineering experience in complex programs.
• Experience with MILSATCOM systems and related ground systems.
• Experience developing or managing requirements or ICDs for complex systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; on-site in secure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure, platform, and software systems.
• Lead technical projects and contribute to best practices and documentation.
• Collaborate with government civilians, contractors and SEI teams.
• Interface with stakeholders to analyze requirements and oversee delivery.
