Job summary

KBR’s ESS Terminals Senior Systems Engineer position is based on-site in El Segundo, CA, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure Protected SATCOM terminal infrastructure and related systems. Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, CS or related field.
• 12+ years’ engineering experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering, such as requirements and technical baseline development, test planning and integration, verification, and validation
• Experience developing or managing requirements or Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for complex systems
• Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Due to security requirements, work is required to be on‑site in a secure facility

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex infrastructure, platform, and software systems.
• Lead technical projects and contribute to development of best practices and documentation.
• Collaborate with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians and USSF members to provide acquisition management development and support.
• Analyze system requirements and oversee development, delivery, and implementation of those requirements.
