Job summary

KBR’s Sustainment Test & Evaluation team at Peterson Space Force Base (CO) seeks a driven engineer to plan and execute testing on MILSATCOM and NC3 systems, ensuring robust performance in demanding defense environments.

You will lead test planning, contribute to system integration, and document results while collaborating with a cross-functional IPT to deliver secure, mission-ready solutions. This onsite role supports critical national security programs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or similar.
• 10+ years leadership/management experience.
• 5+ years DoW test processes and documentation.
• 5+ years working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
• 5+ years experience in a highly competitive multi-contractor environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, coordinate and execute testing on MILSATCOM systems and related subsystems.
• Provide engineering support, troubleshoot, and assess system modifications for shortfalls/interoperability.
• Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, procedures, diagrams, and reports.
• Travel: Up to 20% to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed by government customers.
